I am excited to be joining Skaneateles Psychology Associates, where I will be offering therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Making the decision to seek therapy for yourself or your child can sometimes be challenging. In my practice, I prioritize providing a safe, validating environment and a non-judgmental relationship where we can work through difficulties together.
I work well with individuals struggling with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, school and behavioral challenges, stress, family issues, as well as everyday parenting and co-parenting difficulties. I offer both parent training work in connection with individual therapy, as well as parent consultation. I have worked in college counseling centers and also specialize in adjustment to college and post-college transitions. I have additional training in both Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I incorporate skills from these areas into my approach. When working with younger children, I also make use of play therapy techniques to help facilitate emotional expression, problem solving, and parent-child connections. Together, we can find the best way to meet your therapy goals. I look forward to being part of the team at Skaneateles Psychology Associates and serving the needs of the local community.
